Hello, I'm Lawson Stallings, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Quality Imported Parts, Inc. This year I begin my 40th year in the auto parts business. Prior to founding my own auto parts business, I began as a delivery driver at Chesapeake Auto Supply in Norfolk, Virginia in 1969. There I learned the value of good customer service, and how important it is to make sure that the customer gets the right part. I held many positions with other parts stores and car dealerships including counter sales, used car sales service advisor, warranty clerk, dispatcher, parts manager and service manager at Leith, Inc., a multi-line dealership in Raleigh, NC.
 
In the last few months, I have worked to develop a means to extend service to fellow car enthusiasts all across America, providing to them the same quality replacement parts and sound advice that my local customers have enjoyed for many years, and this website is one of the results of those efforts. Since starting the company in 1983, many changes have come to the auto parts industry. There has been much consolidation, and the competition has never been fiercer for the auto parts buyer's dollar. This, of course, is good for the consumers of auto parts and their families, as the cost of auto parts remain relatively expensive on the whole. This increased competition has, unfortunately, caused many auto parts companies to go out of business, largely due to their inability or unwillingness to change the way they do business. We hope, however, to revolutionize the way people buy auto parts. Lawson’s Club is my effort to not only survive in business, but indeed, to change the rules.
